Why SynthEvents
Real systems have a history. Examples rarely do.
A handful of events written by hand shows how to write an event, but not what working with a store is like once it has grown over months, with many streams that interleave. SynthEvents gives you that history at once.
- Behavior, not noise. People follow the rhythm of their day and the rules of their domain – a reader who finds every copy of a book out comes back later, and a late return costs a fee.
- The same data for everyone. A data set follows from its seed and the version of SynthEvents, so everyone in a workshop works on the same events, and its events say how to make it again.
- Ready for EventSourcingDB. Every data set comes as plain CloudEvents and as a backup that restores as it is.
