# range-incomplete

The time range lacks **one of its bounds**.

- **Status:** `400 Bad Request`
- **Route:** `POST /api/v1/generate-events`
- **Description:** `range is incomplete: expected from and to`
- **Details:** **`field`**, the bound that is missing, `range.from` or `range.to`.

## Why It Happens

The object `range` has no field `from` or no field `to`, or its value is `null`. If both are missing, `field` names `range.from`.

## How to Fix It

Give the range both bounds, `from` and `to`.
